13:45 UPDATE: Sancho decision

Man Utd transfer target Jadon Sancho has decided he does NOT want to leave Borussia Dortmund for Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rates the former Manchester City ace highly and has been impressed by a campaign that has seen the England international score 11 times from 33 matches, clocking up 14 assists along the way.

Manchester United are in the market for a right winger and Sancho, with his blistering pace and creative instincts, would be a shrewd signing.

Yet the Independent say the teenager does NOT want to join the Red Devils this summer.

United have failed to finish in the top four.

And Sancho is reluctant to leave Dortmund to play a season in the Europa League, having played at the highest level with the Bundesliga outfit already.

It is claimed he also has doubts as to whether United is the right next destination for him.

13:10 UPDATE: Balague on Koulibaly to Man Utd

Man Utd signing Kaldiou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer will be tricky, according to Guillem Balague.

“Koulibaly is obviously a target for Manchester United,” he said on his YouTube channel. “Not just for Manchester United.

“Napoli are saying 120million euros but generally they do not want to sell.

“That figure, it’s a figure they may sit down on the table for but it comes a company with the line they do not want to sell.

“So they’re not in a rush to do so and it will have to be for a lot of money.

“Now Manchester United will have to look for players who suit the style Solskjaer wants.

“Koulibaly will want to go to a place he can win the league. Why leave Napoli otherwise?

“He earns enough money, he’s well considered, so why jump.”

12:20 UPDATE: Liverpool looking at FIVE players

Liverpool have assessed five stars prior to the transfer window opening today, but Jurgen Klopp has changed his mind on Celta Vigo hitman Maxi Gomez.

The Daily Mail say Reds sporting director Michael Edwards want to target young, hungry players who can put those in the first team under pressure.

Villareal’s Samuel Chukwueze, Ajax’s David Neres and Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt are all in their sights.

Liverpool are also said to have ran the rule over Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and Bristol City’s Lloyd Kelly.

But, regarding Gomez, the Mail suggest the Merseyside giants have cooled their interest.

Man Utd have made a surprising enquiry for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.

German publication Kicker say United have surprisingly enquired about Lewandowski, whose long-term future at Bayern Munich is shrouded in uncertainty.

But Lewandowski has not done that, leading to talk he may be on the move.

10:55 UPDATE: Salah to Real Madrid on?

Real Madrid will rock Liverpool by chasing Mohamed Salah after wrapping up the signing of Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

French journalist Philippe Carayon, speaking on Canal+, said: Concerning Real Madrid and its reconstruction, after Hazard, Zidane and Real want another big striker.

“It is Mohamed Salah. This is, after Hazard, their other priority.

“They want to build a super big trio of attack. We know that he (Zidane) does not want any more of Bale.

“With Salah, it flows naturally.”

10:20 UPDATE: Arsenal offered Real Madrid and PSG players

Arsenal have been offered Real Madrid and PSG players ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Daily Mail claim Los Blancos have given Arsenal the chance to sign Marcos Llorente.

Wenger was previously a fan of the Spaniard and was linked with a move in January 2018, mere months before his retirement.

Arsenal have also been offered the chance to sign Adrien Rabiot.

The PSG star will leave the Parc des Princes having spent the last 12 months out in the cold.

09:30 UPDATE: Man Utd deal close

Man Utd are close to completing a deal for Swansea winger Daniel James.

The Evening Standard claim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward that he wants all of his summer transfer business concluded by July 1.

James, 21, will reportedly cost between £15-20million and signing him means they will miss out on Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho who was their top target.

The Welshman, though, represents a much cheaper option as Sancho, 19, would cost closer to £80m.

As for Van Aanholt, the United boss wants Luke Shaw to have to fight for his place in the starting line up.

08:05 UPDATE: Liverpool signing backed

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should look to sign Ruben Neves from Wolves this summer, Stan Collymore claims.

Collymore said on Malaysian network Stadium Astro: “If Liverpool are champions of Europe, that in itself is a huge catch.

“Players from around Europe will have seen the atmosphere this season and will have seen the type of football that they play.

“Another couple [they could look at], you’re looking at Ruben Neves.

“He’s been on the radar of a couple of clubs, a play-maker, somebody that can get the ball.

“Doesn’t get as many goals as he should, I think he’s got five for the season, but he scores worldies.

“He’s the kind of guy that will get the ball in the final third and has the kind of vision that a David Silva or a Bernardo Silva has.”

07:40 UPDATE: Chelsea eye Hazard replacements

Chelsea have lined up two players who they think could replace Eden Hazard this summer – though any deals are dependent on their FIFA-imposed transfer ban being frozen, BBC Sport’s David Ornstein claims.

Ornstein told BBC Radio 5 Live: “The Hazard question could be contingent to the transfer ban because despite reports to the contrary, his mooted move to Real Madrid is not done.

“[Chelsea director] Marina Granovskaia is putting up a fight on that one.

“If he is sold and the transfer ban is delayed, then I’ve been told they’ve got an interest in Philippe Coutinho.

“His agent is Kia Joorabchian who Chelsea have done a number of deals with in the past.

“There’s possibly also interest in Wilfried Zaha as a replacement for Hazard.

“Zaha, I’m told, if the price is right could well leave Palace this summer despite many Palace fans knowing that’s a bit of a doomsday scenario.”

07:10 UPDATE: Arsenal scouting mission

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has taken it upon himself to oversee the progress of a summer transfer target.

Emery is looking to strengthen his Arsenal squad in the upcoming transfer window and is reportedly looking at bringing in another centre-back into the fold.

The Spaniard has made several visits to watch Getafe play so he can have a closer look at their defender, Djene Dakonam, reports the Telegraph’s chief sports reporter Jeremy Wilson.

“As an aside on Getafe, was told that Unai Emery has been to a few recent games,” Wilson tweeted.

“And presumed to be interested in their centre-back Djene Dakonam.”
