Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is getting close to completing a deal to bring Kalidou Koulibaly to Man Utd, talkSPORT host Andy Goldstein claims.

He said: “The Koulibaly thing, I’ve heard good things that him coming to Utd is very close.”

Solskjaer is set for a busy summer as they looks to overhaul his current squad.

Napoli defender Koulibaly is believed to be a prime target for Solskjaer having impressed in Serie A this season.

Stefan Lichtsteiner is set to leave Arsenal after just one season at the Emirates.

“I see it being quite difficult to stay but we are going to see what happens,” he told the Evening Standard.

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is demanding the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

Solskjaer is set to have a busy summer as United boss with many changes needed if the Red Devils are to become competitive again.

One of Solskjaer’s targets is Sporting’s Fernandes and Portuguese outlet A Bola now say that the Norwegian is demanding the signing.

It’s claimed the Solskjaer sees the midfielder as an “ideal” signing and is not put off by the huge buyout clause of £85million.

Solskjaer sees Fernandes as vital to success next season with the 24-year-old having netted 32 goals this season.

Mesut Ozil stated that he doesn’t think he will leave Arsenal this summer.

“I don’t think there’s a chance of that [leaving] to be honest,” Ozil told DAZN DACH.

Liverpool fans are not happy with club legend Phil Thompson after he suggested Jurgen Klopp should make a move for Philippe Coutinho.

One responded: “He faked a back injury to punish Liverpool for not letting him go, so absolutely not.”

Another added: “No sorry. He burned all bridges I’m afraid. And with no stats to back me up, I’m gonna say we’re a better team without him.”

Real Madrid are desperate to manoeuvre a transfer that will see Gareth Bale leave the Bernabeu and they hope Tottenham will be tempted with a £10 million loan deal.

Zinedine Zidane has a rocky relationship with Gareth Bale and the Frenchman’s return to the Los Blancos has once again put the player’s future at the club in doubt.

The club don’t see Bale in their future plans and are looking to strike a deal that will see him leave Madrid next season even if only on a temporary basis.

Bale has been offered a return to Tottenham for a £10m loan fee and Madrid would be willing to allow them to pay less than half of his wages, reports The Sun.

The Welshman is currently on a contact that sees him earn over £600,000 a week a Real and the club are reportedly only looking for around £250,000 a week as part of the loan deal.

Hazard has finalised his own terms with Real on a move – but Chelsea are holding out for the full figure for their star player, who still has a year of his contract to go and will not sign a new one.

Manchester United are ready to splash the cash to land Kalidou Koulibaly and Nicolas Pepe.

The Daily Mirror say the Red Devils are ready to spend over £120m on the Napoli and Lille stars.

Centre-back Koulibaly could cost over £75m, which would eclipse the record fee Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk.

As for Pepe, the forward would set United back about £45m.

“I would take him back in a heartbeat, but it would have to be now,” Thompson told Sky Sports News.

Speaking to Telefoot, Lacazette simply said: “It is flattering.”
